Permanent Hair Reduction

Hair contains pigment (melanin), when the melain is hit with the correct type of light it absorbs the light and converts it into heat. The hair transmits this heat to the hair follicle which is then destroyed and rendered unable to produce a new hair.

This treatment is safe and efficient, it removes hair from all parts of the face and body. 3 - 8 treatments are usually needed with six week intervals between treatments. A consultation and patch test is required prior to treatment, but this is free of charge. During the consultation your therapist will asses your suitability for the treatment and advise you accordingly.

Do I need to take any precautions before and after treatment?
You need to avoid tanning before and after treatment. Use a good quality sun block of at least SPF 30 post treatment and in avoid exposure to heat. In the case of hair reduction treatments do not remove hair by plucking, tweezing, waxing or use of creams between sessions. You can shave if required.
